02-School bus not involved in mishap

It was reported that a school bus had been involved and left the scene, but the deputy who investigated the accident, Lt. Kaelen Matthews, found that the car involved never made contact with the bus and no one was injured. The car was driven by a female juvenile who had two other teens as passengers. The bus driver’s information was obtained at the Nelson County bus garage. According to the witness, the bus had made a left turn from Sullivan Lane onto Louisville Road in front of the car, which was traveling southbound. The bus was listed as a contributing factor to the accident since the driver of the passenger car had to take evasive action to avoid striking the bus.
